The Log Panel presents diagnostic information for your perusal.

The Basics

• Messages are time and level stamped + colored.
• Messages from ChucK start with [chuck] and may cross multiple lines.
• The Log is auto-cleared when you initiate a new ChucK session.
• announcement changes color when a new message arrives. This is especially useful when the Log Panel isn't selected.

The Operations

Filter Toggle displays or hides a filter input field to enter noise-reducing search terms. To display only log entries containing warnings, enter warn into this box. If you are a regex guru, go crazy. When your filter is invalid regex, we fall back to a simple string search. Clear the input field to disable filtering. Remember even when a non-empty input filter isn't visible it will quietly do its work.

Copy Log copies the filtered text to your system clipboard. From there the world is your oyster.

Clear Log clears the contents of the log. Contents are erased without remorse.
