Hz.Guitar is a 6-string synthesizer that models real guitar properties. It's a Hz-compatible port of the excellent Fretwork webapp.

Hz.Effects is a multi-effects audio processor tuned for use with Hz.Guitar. It's likely suited for a variety of other uses.

Hz.GrainFilter brings the wild, unpredictable world of granular synthesis to input-stream processing. Chop incoming audio into clouds of tiny grains, then scatter, stretch, reverse, overlap, and rearrange them into everything from subtle texture and motion to full-on glitchy mayhem. With granular filtering, the familiar signal becomes raw material for creating sounds that are fragmented, fluid, rhythmic, and delightfully strange. Available via Hz Demos.

Hz.FM8 allows you to turn up your FM synth to 8! If you need more nuanced control over FM than provided by eg FM7, this 8-operator synth provides complete control over the modulation matrix and per-operator parameters. FM8 comes with several presets but the best thing is: you can make your own!

Hz.Biquad is a simpler audio filter node built atop WebAudio's BiquadFilterNode.

QuakeSounds is a simple web-app that leverages the Hz sandbox. It's a cool ambient soundscape and an example showing how you can build your own web-apps that leverage Hz!

Hz.SpectreCompress is a spectral dynamics processor. Like Hz.DynaCompress, it allows you to help prevent clipping and distortion. Unlike DynaCompress, it operates in the spectral plane giving you control over compression within each spectral band. But wait, there's more! Hz.SpectreCompress supports compression and expansion on both the loud and quiet ends of your spectrals dynamics. And if that's not enough, Hz.SpectreCompress supports Envelopes and even time-varying Deep Envelopes allowing you to tune the dynamics of individual spectral regions over time. This provides unusually deep control over spectral dynamics.

Hz.SpectreScope was improved and renamed to become a full-fledged Spectre.
